Hair Kouture Salon & Spa LLC was established by CheKesha Simms (Owner/Hairstylist/Instructor) in 2014. She has over 25+ years of experience in the hair and beauty industry. CheKesha has worked in local salons in Richmond, VA, owned her own in home studio in Woodbridge, VA, worked in a national salon franchise, and has assisted in helping brand and create a social media presence for other local salons and businesses. Throughout her professional career she has volunteered by doing hair for the homeless and back to school programs. ​ Besides being an owner and a stylist she is also a licensed cosmetology instructor currently working at Empire Beauty School part time. She offers one one training to students and other stylist (for more information fill out contact form). ​ Her work has also been published in local and national magazines, local news papers, and she also had the honor to style the hair of Miss Virginia Teen Essence 2013. She loves creating new looks for her clients and believes in providing them with the tools they need to maintain the look and health of their hair when they leave the salon. CheKesha prides herself to be able to work with all hair types and ethnicities. She offers a range of professional services from haircuts, Healthy Hair Treatments, and chemical services.
